A chance to try winter swimming safely
November is officially the start of the winter swimming season and a great time to give it a try before it gets too cold!
The Winter Zinger Swim Sessions are designed to be a short intro to winter swimming. The swims will be a simple dip, a body immersion or a brief swim depending on how you handle the cold. Designed for a small group, risks and guidance will be outlined before you are encouraged into the water and monitored by the Dip Advisor. These swims will vary depending on temperature of the water, experience of the group and weather conditions. Once dry and dressed, warm porridge and hot drinks will be provided.
Winter is a unique time to swim, often spending more time undressing and dressing than swimming. But offers natural highs, community spirit and a zing that will stay with you all day. Morning swims, designed to be about sharing the joy of the water. Expect chatter & laughter.
REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to swim. Comfortable with the idea of swimming in a river. Aged 16+
PRICE INCLUDES: Dip Advisor swim hat. Pot of porridge (Dairy/Non-Dairy/Gluten Free Available). Hot Drink.
